Arife Candaş Adıgüzel Zengin, the founder of Unique Biotechnology, launched her startup in October 2020, taking the first step of her dream on the road from academia to industry.
Since 2001, she aimed to produce biological, environmentally friendly, natural and innovative products by blending the knowledge she gained in her academic career at Ege University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Leather Engineering with biotechnology, green chemistry, sustainable production and circular economy.
Combining all these features with teamwork and researcher spirit, UNIQUE Biotechnology aspires to produce innovative products that the sector needs with its dynamic new generation structure.
